Dream looks like hell, and he's certainly acting different than the Dream Technoblade knows. Technoblade has been patient, he's tried not asking questions but. So he speaks without really thinking, which usually involves a bit more pausing to collect his thoughts and reevaluate his words but with the way Dream is reacting, Technoblade doubts it matters how he tells the story. It's a story he's told one hundred times, a memorized speech at this point. "-and then I told the guy." Techno watches Dream carefully as he speaks. Well, at least they have a clock to keep track of time. On the rare occasion Techno catches Dream sleeping, he would almost think him dead apart from the shallow rise and fall of his chest. It's like watching someone leave their body, it's unnerving how still Dream can become. Techno notices Dream spaces out a lot when he's still. He was fine when Techno had come, and for the first few days of high-energy talking from the Piglin. Unless he's directly looking at Techno, or Techno is being loud and boisterous. Dream has barely acknowledged Techno when he addresses him at all, actually. He's always active, in motion, be it gnawing on his fingers or even shivering from being cold. Techno has stayed up with him nights where neither of them could sleep, and hasn't seen the man stop moving once. Dream's always needed to move constantly, but this is. Back and forth, back and forth, so much so that he's surprised the floor isn't worn from it. It's been days since Techno arrived, and all he's seen amongst his own constant rambles about near-nothingness is Dream pace.
